About Veronica...
My name is Veronica Evans. I have been blessed with the heart and innate ability to nurture God’s people. I was ordained in ministry and affirmed as a pastor and teacher by Bishop Alfred D. Blue and Bishop Herman Clerk at Family Life Christian Church. God provided me the vision to develop this discipling program tailored to enable both new and old believers to set a foundation in the ways of a born again child of God. I taught The Nurturance Program for over ten years at Family Life and various assemblies throughout San Antonio, Texas. Years later my family relocated to Denver, CO and I joined with Victory Praise Christian Center under the leadership of Richard and Jeral Davis where I was given the opportunity to again facilitate The Program. There I met Dr. Frank McWhorter (developer/director of Step-Up, Inc., life skills and recovery support workshops) who, after going through the course himself, considered the experience a true benefit to his own spiritual development and adopted it as a support for faith based development at Step-Up Inc. I also served at Step-Up, Inc. for three years as pastoral care for faith-based development and as a life skills workshop facilitator for both youth and adults. Step-Up, Inc., has been designated as the Fitting Back In, prison re-entry agency for Colorado. The Nurturance Network is a labor of love that is in perpetual expansion by the Holy Spirit.
